The HS-1 is a unique wire locating device. It is powered by a simple 1.5 VDC battery and is totally operator safe.  The HS-1 uses the fingers of the hand to quickly locate a hidden wire in a cable run, a wired back panel or a wiring harness for tagging or marking.  It will also test for isolation breakdown in transformers.
