MODEL MB-10 HEADSET CONTINUITY TESTER

The MB-10 is an industrial grade continuity tester, built inside a hearing protector that provides a minimum of -26 dB of noise reduction to the operators' ears.  The all-metal frame offers a comfortable fit for long hours of use while affording the ultimate in comfort to the operator.  Soft "foam-flow" ear seals conform to the users head and covers their ears with amazing comfort.  The MB-10 contains an audio continuity tester that affords the operator quick discernment of point-to-point continuity by a clear audible tone.  Two industrial, rubberized test leads are attached to jacks mounted in the headset domes for quick changes and easy storage.  As an "in-circuit" tester of transistors, diodes and transformers, the MB-10 analyzes the in-circuit junctions for a go/no-go normality.  The MB-10 indicates opens, shorts and leakage of components in-circuit.  The MB-10 has a very low probe voltage and will not damage or bias sensitive semiconductor devices.  Tip voltage is only 1.6 VDC Max and is resistance sensitive.  Power is provided by a coin cell battery estimated to last one year of normal life.  The MB-10 is completely operator-safe and provides a work environment devoid of workplace distractions.  A detachable color coded set of rubberized test leads, 36" long, are provided as standard lengths.  Other lengths are available by special orders.
