The Model MD-30 is a listen-only headset designed to meet the demanding requirements of industrial applications for personal communications. The Model MB-30 will reduce the ambient noise up to -26 dB, thereby permitting noise-free communications with Handheld transceivers, prevalent in today's "must-communicate-now" style of business. Use it in environmentally noisy workplaces, designated by the EPA as 'Hearing-protection-required" zones. The Model MB-30's unique feature allows busy managers to keep in touch with their people on their portable, handheld, short-wave and CB transceivers. Just use the (enclosed) adapter cable and plug it into the 3.5 mm phone jack of the radio on your belt. The radio's volume control will permit the preferred listen level, depending upon your specific work environment. The MB-30 has a 32 ohm industrial speaker capable of interfacing into transceivers, cell phones, Walkman radios, intercom systems and radio scanners. The all-metal frame offers a comfortable fit for long hours of use. Soft "foam-flow" ear seals conforms to the users' head and covers their ears with amazing comfort
